      ctrlr Rev 504

Are the parameters for component Minimum and Maximum Value ignored when using Fixed Image Slider?

I was using an Image Slider for a CC with min – max values of 52 – 76. The midi values spit out from this slider was just as I set it, 52 at the bottom, 76 at the top in increments of 1.

But when I set this for Fixed Image Slider, it only spits out value 0 to whatever many slider contents I have in the box, in this case I have 25 total parameters in the slider contents box. I can put any value in for Minimum and Maximum and this doesn’t change, it will only send 0 – 25.

I can work around the problem by adding 52 to the modulatorValue, but this doesn’t seem very logical when I have a Min / Max setting in the component field.

Anyone else have this happening to them or am I just missing something? Can someone do a test to see if this is how it functions for them?

This way of working becomes especially troublesome when I’m attempting to have a Fixed slider send out values that are not linear, so adding to the modulatorValue can’t fix the problem.

you need to set the value for each line of text in the content, like so
          [code:gpclechf]
          My fixed value 1=52
          My fixed value 2=53
          My fixed value 3=53
          My fixed value 4=54
          My fixed value 5=55
          [/code:gpclechf]

          the same applies to uiCombo,uiButton,uiImageButton

            wow!

That fixes a lot of my problems!
Is there documentation I’m missing for this stuff? I’d hate to be asking these simple questions when the information is readily available.
