hey guys, I am new to Logic (and to OSX)… I am trying to get Logic 9 to work with Ctrlr and my M-audio Midisport 4×4. the general idea is this. (i am starting with only one device to get it working first)

      Here is what I have:

Imac connected to NI Kore for the audio output.
Imac connected to M-audio MidiSport 4×4 via USB
MidiSport 4×4 input and out midi cables to Nord 2 Rack.

If i do not use Ctrlr as a instrument, and I rather use "an external instrument" for the track I can then use the library in logic to choose the correct port. but when I use Ctrlr I can not choose that port in Logic. That being said, I think Ctrlr knows where it is, because i can adjust the settings to use the midisport 4×4 and then if i choose the port inside of Ctrlr, I can click on the virtual keyboard for the Nord Panel. but no notes are recorded that way to Logic, and likewise I can not play any notes back from the sequencer. is there a step I am missing? anybody have any suggestions?
thanks, the concept of this thing is great.
