I added this some time ago, cause someone asked for it. But now that i’m trying to make Ctrlr load faster i looked at it and i see no one using it. Any graphics feature added to Ctrlr causes load time to increase (painting stuff takes the longest in Ctrlr and in any app). So i ask you guys if i can get rid of that and never bring it back. The less code is in Ctrlr the less bugs there will be and everything will work a bit faster.

from my point of view you can delete "look and feel" (i assume you mean this rainbow-button in the main toolbar). i never used it and guess i never will. in generally i don’t need all this optical enhancements.
my priorities for a program like ctrlr would be: stability, bugfree, performance, compatibility, technical and midi enhancements, easy to understand and operate…… and last-named: optical stuff (but only if it doesn’t affect the mentioned essentials!).

Screw it I removed all that code. I just need to finish the new threading model and ill post a nightly build. I really want to be done with that part and go back to the program manager.

No chance for today, tomorrow i got a job interview and a doctors visit. I think weekend is a possible timeline for the nightly build.
