Multiple instances with different configurations

Hi!

I wanna say a big thank you to the people behind this project!! you’re all great for making this!!

i use ableton and a novation supernova synth. when using the performance mode (each one of the 8-parts through a different midi channel) i have multiple instances of ctrlr in different ableton tracks. everything works ok, but when i re-configure an instance to send data through an specific channel, it modifies the midi channel of the other ctrlr instances, so i can’t have different instances with different channels.

it would be great if each instance could have its own configuration.

it modifies this data in realtime ? i mean you change the midi channel in one running instance and the other get’s the changes ?

I just checked it and you are right this is a bug but one i don’t know how to fix, looks like there is a low level object (a Manager i wrote) that somehow is "shared" across all instances, i’ll try to fix that asap.

Hi!

Just gave it a try, but it’s not working. Each instance’s configuration now has its own midi channel, but both instances send data through the same midi channel.

If I try to delete the second instance, Ableton crashes :S

i’m still working on some fixes, give me some time it will work i’m doing some major changes because of this, i had a complete rewrite of the engine and there might by serious bugs, i already found some and am fixing them now.
