I seem to be able to put some characters (/, |, <img decoding=” title=”Smile” /> into a uiComponent’s unique name… but want to be sure I’m not being allowed to do something by the program that I should’t be… so are there any illegal characters which should be avoided in a component’s unique name field?

      thanks!

you’re right.. even spaces. I wasn’t expecting that so i was camel casing my unique names.

Quick question, is it necessary to give modulators a visible name if you have the visible name hidden? I would assume not but wanted to check. … right now they’re all "modulator-1"

visible name is not necessary the unique name is but that’s auto-generated (you can change it but it must be unique)
