It seems that the DDB doesn’t update the panels correctly.
E.g. the MIDIbox SID panel is displayed with version v1.2 (the latest one), but the initial release (v1.0) will be downloaded.
I tried this on two different computers, from the internal Ctrlr download function and from a webbrowser – same result.

      Best Regards, Thorsten.

I noticed that but i’m pretty sure this is something with the sf.net caching stuff i need to somehow go around it i was trying to add some unique parameters to the URLs but it wasn’t enough i’ll need to write a special script for serving those panels. I’ll fix that.

I think that I found the problem: it was sitting in front of the keyboard! <img decoding=” title=”Wink” />

In order to upload a new version, I selected the "Update only" option instead of "Upload", because I wasn’t sure about the difference, and wanted to avoid that a new panel entry could be created with "Upload", so that the old version would have to be removed by you.

But it seems that "Update only" updates the DDB informations, and "Upload" is doing the actual update of the complete panel, right?

Now I uploaded the latest version of the MIDIbox FM panel, and it was immediately downloadable from the second computer.

          Best Regards, Thorsten.

The problem with sf.net is that its not a single server it’s a hole farm of machines that they synchronize, but you can’t force this process and you can’t be sure when will you hit the machine that has the latest files. I don’t know how they do it with the web content but i know for sure that’s the case with their download section. The DDB needs to be re-worked and done properly what is done now is something i wrote in two days and left it like that cause it worked. I couldn’t spend more time on it cause Ctrlr itself needs more work and that’s what i need to focus on. I have little time theese days but i’m doing changes daily (you can see when i commit new code to the repository). DDB now is badly designed it downloads a bulk of data to the Ctrlr app with images and that’s too much data it should download only the info on panels and load images and other stuff on selection to limit the bandwidth, also the panels on the server side should be in the database and right now they’re kept as files. This needs to change but like i said it will take some time.
