programming press+hold shift keys

I have a shift key that sends sysex
and a recall key that requires the shift key be held with it that sends sysex.

If i want to initiate the recall function from one button, i’m assuming I’d want to use a multimessage list, which is what I’m doing, but is there a command to put along with the first shift key’s sysex to indicate that it needs to be held for the next input?
