At the moment, it seems that the ctrlr always checks for updates once it starts and once it finds an update, it pops up a dialog that you manually have to close in order to continue using the DAW. At least, this is the case for Ableton Live. Can you please remove this? I don’t want to continue closing this popup manually.. either

1) Have a "don’t show this dialog again" option
2) the rest of my plugins normally have a "check for updates" button. I personally like this approach

Also, is it possible to have some kind of changelog of the bugs fixed between revisions? Thanks for the good work; keep it up!

there is an option in the preferences (check for updates on load), just diasable that, bug fixes and stuff are tracked in the SVN repository, recent changes are found in the Changes section on this forum or via a RSS feed to the Ctrlr project on googlecode (http://code.google.com/feeds/p/ctrlr/updates/basic)

ah ok.. found the option.. thanks!

I´m gonna give my DSI Mopho ctlr a rest for now, as I have to admit that the soundtower editor still has a slight edge over the ctrlr… there´s still some bugs that are preventing me from using it properly, but once you sort out the MIDI mapping issues, the ctrlr will be truly outstanding! thanks for your efforts!

sure man! Hell, I freakishly impressed by your efforts man.. I´m a programmer myself (C++; but I work in the field of computer graphics and not audio) so I know all about how much of an effort you are putting in! I would love to help you out, but I´m too busy making music in my spare-time … the above comment was NOT meant as any kind of insult or whatever; you are doing one hell of a job! I was just stating that there are some issues to be worked out; I have full trust in you solving them all at your own time I only whine cause I can see the potential of your software kicking all my other crappy editors out the window
