Every time i select a "modulator" (knob, slider, button etc) in edit mode i need to collapse the modulator and Component subsection on the far right to get to the midi subsection to set the controller value… since form (component) follows function (midi) would it be much trouble to consider moving the midi subsection to the top of the list on the right? I’m more concerned with setting the function of the modulator before the look/feel of the modulator…

Additionally there are several midi settings placed within the component section… since the component section mostly deals with color/size/look of the modulator why are the (knobs and sliders) MIDI min value, max value and interval settings stuck in the middle between "image resource" and "value position"?? doesn’t seem logical.

This may seem nitpicky but it’s a well justified gripe from a usability standpoint.

        they are in "some" order
        [code:1jkgwfs7]
        Modulator
        Component
        Midi
        [/code:1jkgwfs7]

maybe it’s not logical so i can re-stack them
        [code:1jkgwfs7]
        Modulator
        Midi
        Component
[/code:1jkgwfs7] or some other way ?

Maybe solution b) is a bit better, it’s just something little but why not. In my case it would be also nice (for a better overwiev) if the "maximize/minimize" states could be remembered/saved by Ctrlr. I mean the "function" which you find left to the "editor type" (Modulator, Component, MIDI), the + and – buttons. If Ctrlr would remember this states of each component you could keep the order very nice aswell.

i’ll see if this can be done but i doubt it (it’s a generic properties component from JUCE)

No problem if this isn’t possible, was just a thought by me.
