OK, sometimes it’s the little things that drive you mad.

I’m using v5.3.201 and whenever I save my panel and reopen it, the very bottom is always chopped off!

After some digging around it seems that in Panel – Editor – uiPanelCanvasRectangle it is always defaulting to 0 0 1000 726 when it should be 0 0 1000 750

If I change it and Save, it doesn’t get saved and will just default to 726 again, so I saved it as XML and changed it manually with Notepad and that worked!

    Aaaarrggghhh 🙁

OK, some further testing, if I save as .panel my changes get saved.

If I Export to Compressed Binary & Resources .bpanelz (for porting to other computers) then my changes do NOT get saved ????

OK, more testing with a new panel, consistently 24 pixels is subtracted from the Exported Panel Height, so the quick and dirty solution is just to add 24 pixels on before you choose to Export.

    Bizarre!

This has been mentioned several times in some other threads.
It is a bug and you need to indeed add 24 pixels to have your exported panels fine.

Exporting a panel is not saving it…

Yep you’re right, if I search for ’24 pixels’ I find the other posts, unfortunately I didn’t use that as a search term when I first looked for an answer!

    Thanks, goodweather!
