I tried what you said, and the program seems to be completely unable to send midi messages out at all. I also copied the formulas from the XML, and it didn’t seem to work. I’m also not sure why there’s a ‘YY’ variable in the original; since the hardware is essentially not changing in any way.

        EDIT – wrong screengrab, haha

Do I do anything with the expression boxes? What do I do with the area that the slider will be changing in the sysex box, do I leave it ‘xx’?

I’m just looking to alter the EX-8000 (windows) panel so that it will work with my DW-8000, which it currently does not. I thought maybe I could look at your source on Google Code, but I couldn’t figure out how to edit or recompile the project. I’m really not a coder at all, I was just hoping I could hack it to make it work for me. Sadly, I’m in over my head. Is there a way you can remake the EX-8000 controller for a DW-8000? I wish I could say I understand the workflow for editing things in CTRLR, but I really can’t figure it out. My end goal is simply being able to control/automate the cut/res on my DW-8000 in a vst inside of my DAW (FL Studio).

So, I think I found the raw files on Google code, but none of them seem to be the sort of thing you can open in CTRLR? I’m really lost. What would I have to do to those raw files to change them? Do I need to download all the dev files, or just some of them? Do I compile them in something? Where am I? What is this place? Who are you?
