      Hey guys!

I was very excited to hear about the panel for the mks-80 would be out soon. But there are no news since the alpha version was released on February 26. Will there be a final version?

I have some preset banks for the synth in a sysex/midi file. Is it possible to integrate it into the panel to make it possible to switch between the presets? And I would also like to know if there is a way to save a specific set of parameters in a preset bank?

        update:

the program section is not working

It’s done! Everything is working fine. And it’s also possible to use automatation in ableton live. I found out that the vst index on a specific modulator must be set to a value less than 100, then it’s recognized in the DAW. I’ve sent a request of the sysex of the inner functions of the Omega 8 to Studio Electronics. If i can get them I will extend the current version.

          From Russia with love 🙂

Thats great! Now it works and i can make it done. But now i have this problem: scince the ctrlr panel uses the midi output channel by its own, how can i send midi notes from a ableton 8 midi channel? The main purpose to me of making the panel is to automate multiple omega functions and at the same time to send midi notes from the daw. The automatation of the omega makes no scense if it’s not possible to automate the notes from Ableton… In the nightly version there are lots of midi routing configs that i just can’t understand by myselve – maybe there is a solution?

I tried to dig deeper into ctrlr and found the visual editor tool. I have no expirience in programming at all and tried to use the standard “components” of the editor. I created some button in midi controller number 55, that is the osc 1 tri wave trigger on the omega 8 according to the Omega CC list, but it dosen’t seem to work:(

If someone helps me I’ll do my best to make a panel of best quality and I promise to share it with the community! I just need some advice to start working.

Here is the test pannel I started to build.
