Maybe i can help in same way.. The only thing you can do get some info out of this editor is installing it, or am i wrong..
Then you need a Mac (powerpc) with OS9 (9.2.2 is the newest version)with OMS 2.3.8 installed, a DP/4 with OS 1.15, a OMS compatible midi interface wich is directly connected with the ins and outs of the DP. So thats a lot… I bought an old mac and midi interface, specially for this editor, because there isn’t a better alternative at the moment and i hate working trough all those menu’s..
So if you can make a controller for the DP/4 as nice as this piece of software for OS X, that would be nice..
If there is something i can do to find the data you need for this, I can help..
Maybe you or me can mail the maker of the old piece of software, Rob Martin, if he has any data on the Ensoniq… I can try if you want..
I am not a very good designer, but if there is someone else who can make this, i think it would be cool..
I have lots of ideas though ” title=”Razz” />
Is it possible to work out a kind of skinn thing.. That al the components are variable depending on what skinn you choose. I would like it for example that al ctrlrs I use, have the Ableton Live look ‘n feel.. Is that possible?
There is a working editor, and a very good one imo, i have it here, for OS9. It’s made by Rob Martin in 1998. I don’t know if it is usefull to you, but here’s the link and all..

You need OS9 with OMS for it and your DP/4 needs OS 1.15…
I also have the password you need to use the software, mail me if you can use al this..
I hope there will be a good and free editor for OS X someday ” title=”Razz” />
