Thank you for that info. I do appreciate it. However, I was using the standalone CTRLR editor in this case without a DAW. I’ll poke around some more and see if I can figure out if there’s some user error or MIDI filtering going on that I don’t see when trying to use an external controller. I’d be curious to know if your rig works as a controller for the SY77 or TG77 via CTRLR in the standalone version?
Heya, Meastempo. Thanks for the updates! I was wondering if using an external controller was working for you in this panel? I can’t seem to get that feature working on this one. It could fully be user error or maybe some parameter is disabled in the panel perhaps? Just checking! Using my main controller would make this panel much better for me, but I can’t get it happening.
Ooooh yeah, this is great. I look forward to being able to leave my ESQ in one spot and edit while playing another controller keyboard and working in my DAW. Thanks, all!
I could test the panel out on Mac for an SY35, but I would not be able to dig into it until next week.
News flash:
Someone has created two TG77 editors for Midi Designer (on ipad). One is just for the AFM side of things. Then he went ahead and made one that does AFM and AWM! Perhaps this would make porting it to Ctrlr easier?
Hi. I’d love to use this panel as I am getting a DSS-1 today. Is it still available? The attachment seems to be defunct. Fingers crossed!
Stoked for the release of this hard work! I have an SY77 on its way to me this week 🙂
I’m dreaming of this as well. I have an Sy35 so maybe there’s hope for compatibility. Many of us would be glad to chip in some help with sections if you need help finding time!
