        where did you find any information on this? i’ve searched the whole net for quite a while now.
        my guess is that it send whole dumps into the synth at a time and that it’s all bit coded as opposed to byte coded.
        as far as i have come to understand it can dump (although i couldn’t manage). so i guess that if it can dump it has to read too.

        can you give anything more? i know this forum is about other kinds of requests but i’m desperate!

          – MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo (santarosa)
          – Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.4
          – Apple Logic Studio
          – AKAI MPK 88
          – MOTU MIDI Express 128
          – Roland Juno-106
          – KORG DW-8000
          – CASIO CZ-5000

          to come soon: Kawai K1rII (rack version of the K1II, same MIDI)

          hopefully to come soon: ATARI MEGA STe with logic 2.5
