Can not open Pull Down Menus

      Hi. I have just installed Ctrlr on Ubuntu Studio 19.10 using Ctrlr-x86_64-5.3.201.sh, which is what was offered from the Linux donwload link.

      The program appears to install correctly but when I run it, the window comes up but I can not open any of the pull down menus. I have looked at this thread but none of the instructions has helped.
