-changes for latest 0.96 Firmware (19April) ( the prev 0.96 did not handle operators in the right way )
— operator handling
— osc1 = osc2 and correct some namings
— OSX Mix all from DUO to SEQMIX
— MOD Matrix Source Destination adaptation
-fix fpr automation in daw ( e.g repaer did not update the env in track on changes of values directly on shruthi, forgot the update to the daw on parameter changes ..wuahh)
-dynamic osc mix naming on osc op settings e.g FUZZ now called AMOUNT on OSC MIXer
-patch name correct for names < 8 chars

Panel has been updated to reflect additions added to official Shruthi-1 V0.96

–New Mixing Modes (duo, 2step, 4step, 8step, seqmix)

– prg change now working also with user bank
– auto dump request if u change it on shruthi ( enable auto request + enable prg change )
– init patch to default
– bugfix on storage handling i sended the wt twice on recover (sry)

Widy has struck again and with a new version! 2.0 is the bees knees!

New feature list:

–mix between own generated and loaded
–quick preview ( during creation by sending on the fly sysex )

–store in slot 0-7 of shruthi
–morph between slots from 0-7
–send all slots to shruthi

–recover stots 1-6 with or without wt ( could also used for exchanging wt’s in patches )
–wt’s full (optinal) recover on save load of daw project or offline online in an project

–also mode switch for smr-4 svf pvk filter board use (renamed it to Shruthi-1 Editor )
–enable disable nprn use

could not update ..im not the creator so here is the file

I’ll check the DDB but this might be an issue with the SF.net caching stuff.

Panel updates, that depends on what you mean, you can request a program and update the panel using LUA there is no automagic way to do it any other way.

I kinda figured it wasn’t just a "cut & paste" kinda thing to get the current device settings. I am completely new to a lot of this and am unfamiliar with LUA. I’ll delve deeper into it and try to figure it all out. I’ll get it eventually.

-send a dump request and parse the sysex received and write the values to the modulator
-or send a sysex dump generated from more modulator values

not for the shruty .. but u just need to fill a kind of list with the right names and id’s

No, I have not done this yet. I looked at the files you sent, but I know nothing of programming code. Something I would like to learn, but not at the moment. If you could add it to my panel that would be most awesome!! My guess would be getting rid of the "Panic" button". I only put that there to fill in the space ” title=”Razz” /> Thanks for the help!

so almost finished with some additional functions , before i upload it to db please download and try it
maybe we will find some bugs ” title=”Smile” />… and i wait for answer from muksys if i should replace the current panel or upload it as a new one

My config is:
-win7 reaper 32 latest version
-CTRL 5.0.1 revision 925 branch nighly
( i know the panel will NOT WORK with versions bellow 925 because 925 or higher HAS A multithread issue FIX with receiving midi events calling script and update modulators )
-Shruthi SMR-4 FW 0.94 ( i think 095 will also working but there are some parameters missing ” title=”Smile” /> … need to update my synth ” title=”Smile” />

Setup:
-i use it as vst in my daw
-with disabled midi in/out device in the DAW
-and selected/enabled midi in/out devices in CTRL
-and selected midi in / out in the panel
-and midi thru enabled in the panel
-and mdi receive from vst enabled in the panel
-!!!!and Shruthi set to Midi out Ctr!!!! … DONT try midi thru on shruthi …..just if u like a midi loop..and endless data exchange ” title=”Smile” />

Whats new :
-panic button stop all notes
-new button receive updates the panel with the patch from the synthi
-send a sysex dump to shruthi … sometimes its necessary because shruthi did not react so fast on all events .. and therefore we send a sysexdump
-6 storages to save/recall a patch in the panel
-morph between stored patch 1 – 2 with or without mod matrix included
-on startup i send a sysex for the sound patch and 10 sequencer settings via nprn .. so that all is recovering right
after recalling of a daw project or offline online handling to use more instances in a track (i hope )

-color changes … gray is dor sound patch parameters
-black is not included in an sound patch (vol modwheel,sequencersettings)

give it a try and report some errors … i will fix it
but for now i need a break …this week was a cool week ” title=”Smile” /> …
received shruthi on fr 16:30 build it until 7 next morning … some sleep .. wakeup test it .. try the editor … fix the editor after >8 hours work every day until 2 in the morning

-add option auto request patch on prg change (on/off)
-patch name display and modify with double click

Great! Auto request parameter update with program change is exceptionally awesome! Only thing that is missing is being able to load patches beyond 127. Other than that, better than I had originally set out to accomplish!

I will update the original DDB entry with this version.

OK, I found some waves missing from slider causing some patches to load with "none" on one of the OSC’s. I have corrected this and updated the DDB. I have also attached the panel.

snk: when I added the tabs for different filters, did that work for you? Its possible widy was using an version before I added it. I will work on putting that back in.
