the modulators assigned as "multi sysex" also has issues. seems to forget it should be a multi sysex modulator when you close, and reopen the controller. i have a panel with a button that has 4 sysex strings in the multi window, but only sends F0 00 F7 from the single slot when i reload the controller. check it.
yes they are the logo, LFO and algorithm graphics. atom might have to jump in on this it seems that CTRLR is trying to store resources where they used to be on my HDD.
yup, i started exploring tabs and got crashes as well. happened when i tried to send 6 combi buttons from one tab to another.
another idea, maybe if you float over a knob, it makes a ghost value appear above it, as well as changes it in the LCD?
the behavior of the LCD now is that it keeps the last value modified in its display…. Can it be made so that when you float over a modulator’s knob, it changes the LCD to the value of the value it contains? this would be helpfull for setting 2 knobs to the same exact value without having to move the one being copied to see the value in the LCD. hope this clairifies…
i like the "double click to set to default" feature. this is handy for stuff like pan controls that sometimes need to be at 63 for center (range 0 – 127) also for filter depth knobs that go -50 to +50 that need to have 63 to be at 0.
ah ok, i really need to read the changelog for details like this. give it another go coil! good luck ” title=”Razz” />
ahhhhhhh ok i think i know what the prob might be, i uploaded files saved as binarey compressed files instead of exported files. i’ll upload the new files right now. and you can try again ” title=”Smile” />
well that sux. i have tried it on my gateway laptop and it works perfect on it too. my main DAW is a QUAD CORE xeon running winxp sp3
could it be the migration to the apple hardware causing the crashing? i think so.Thanks FIlch! It did turn out quite nice i must agree ” title=”Smile” />
I’m really enjoying this app if you can tell. hehewhats next? hmmm debating between The Ensoniq SQ2 or the Korg M3r….
both would truly benifit from a good controller surface. All Hail Mr. Atom for creating CTRLR! allowing is to make our own control surfaces to our liking.
I am enjoying this controller. it lets me truly explore the TX-802 to its fullest potential. letting me create
some great Performances on the fly. the only thing i wish CTRLR had is the ability to store patches/banks
in a buffer, and be able to modify values within it, to change the patch name for example. then send it back
as a permanently changed patch.i have hidden the values and made them display in an LCD component using the LCD static modulator. it works, but i would like its behavior to display the current value when the mouse floats over it. this would be what the doctor ordered!!! can this small change be made in the next build Mr. Atom?
yup….
seems to me that putting 3 and 4 in the buttons values box and setting the off state to 3, on state to 4 on the slider values
should toggle the button image on and off and the 3 and 4 values sent alternately with each click….but it doesnt happen. ” title=”Sad” />
i played around with the "button is toggle" turning that on and off, but the button disappears completely when parameter is
turned off.Hi Filch,
button attributs were set correctly hight = 20, width = 20.
the button works fine up until i set on state value = 4, off state = 3…. the message walues are sent, but the image stays in off state.OK guys, here is my first CTRLR project… the Yamaha tx802. Ran into a few head scratchers getting the sysex
figured out but so far so good. its coming along. this is the performance tweak page which is needed badly
for those using the TX7 ver. 4 editor. this panel will have a voice editor tab as soon as i finish the performance
editor part. congrats on a very smooth easy to use application for this purpose, Mr. Atom. I’m sure i’ll be cranking
out more after this one!Ahhhh ok, i didnt see that option to put the device list on the toolbar… it being a player, i think those parameters should be more obvious and upfront somewhere in the GUI…. just my 2 bits.
thanks Msepsis…. the panel is coming along…will be posting a rough bpanelz soon.
