Glad to hear it, I was hoping someone would find it useful =)
What synths are you using it with? With the Prophet 12 I was able to expand the basic design significantly, triggering a sysex dump and record via a single button click in CTRLR… and then getting really crazy, I setup a knob that could morph the bytes of one sysex program into another, allowing you to find very odd/unique sounds “between” the two presets.
I have a panel that loads inside of an ableton session and feeds midi output to some of the tracks but every time I open the session, in order for this to work, I have to open the ctrlr plugin and click “MIDI -> Output to Plugin Host”
Any chance this can be fixed?
January 24, 2016 at 4:37 pm in reply to: First Sysex attempt – Korg Triton panel – no midi response #68131If you see it on the midi output monitor your problem may be in the routing of midi to the triton – is there an option on the triton itself that may be ignoring incoming sysex? Or might your host DAW be filtering it out? I have the midi device out in CTRLR assigned to my synth so that the midi goes directly to it rather than through the host DAW…
I implemented something like this, you can read about it in my post:
