In it, the video remains in edit mode because I had to set the Panel MIDI devices or I was playing .. Even I as ogg afternoon, I will not have much time to devote to acomputer music .. With faders I noticed that the sound effects in the change, while in the edit section almost none of the fader does change the sound if you move the mouse ..
A I do not remember if you told me if this program once placed, can export the plug-in as the format. Dll
bye
April 10, 2012 at 8:30 am #4096The edit mode of the panel mutes almost all output to the MIDI Device, it’s for designing panels not for using them. You need to exit the edit mode to play with the device.

If you would have followed the 1st tutorial, you would have seen that you could set the Panel Midi Devices using the Right-Click and select the "Panel Properties" option… The edit mode is really for developping the panel, which you don’t want to do right now ” title=”Wink” />
As Atom kindly said: faders don’t respond in edit mode !

April 11, 2012 at 12:50 pm #4099Kudos on that last video, interesting to see… I didn’t know you could use the "librarian"/patch organizer at the same time ” title=”Wink” /> Well the library will have a lot of patches ” title=”Wink” /> so you won’t have to go back and forth ” title=”Wink” />
April 12, 2012 at 1:12 pm #4100Yes, the library works in "real time" but also that one must be configured .. I qualchwe problem with cubase .. As soon as I open a window the sound stops .. will be some settings of my sound card .. I do not know …
April 15, 2012 at 6:02 pm #4101HI Chris, I love your JD controler. Do you have a paypal adres I want to give a donation for future releases!
April 22, 2012 at 12:27 am #4102Thanks for your kind offer ” title=”Wink” /> Right now, I need to make sure of the licenses re:donation and any donation would be split with Atom on a 50%/50% basis… ” title=”Wink” />
April 26, 2012 at 12:48 pm #4103Hi Chris, how things?
Well if is possible to donate something after all, I’ll be more than happy to give something too ” title=”Very Happy” />
Maybe you and Atom can sort something out.
I would like to ask a question to you and Atom……Do you think it would be possibile in a future to save the panel as vst, so to avoid the midi port configuration? I hope my question make sense. ” title=”Confused” />Regards. Luca
April 26, 2012 at 12:57 pm #4104Ctrlr is a VST plugin and you can load the panel in the VST version of Ctrlr. But i think that you are thinking to do a single instance of Ctrlr that has only one panel, i’m working on something like that, but it won’t be like SynthEdit does where it packs everything into one DLL file, however it will be similar (two files will be needed). This is a feature i’m planning for the near future.
April 26, 2012 at 8:12 pm #4105ATOM :
Latest nightly (well earlier this week) fixes a lot of stuff that was bad previously !!! Nice Work… However, my Toggle Button seems to not work anymore… it’s like the "event" is not triggered. Any idea ? I haven’t tested fully though… and should start a panel from scratch to verify this claim but am not able to do it where I am right now ” title=”Wink” />
April 26, 2012 at 8:18 pm #4106I’ll test this tomorrow with some other stuff i got reported, i got home very late today and there is no chance of fixes today. But i’ll try to get something running tomorrow at work, it should be slow so i’ll have some time. I messed with toggle button and the underlying logic so there might be something there.
April 27, 2012 at 8:21 am #4107Allright what’s not getting triggered, the LUA code the MIDI message ? Is it a standard toggle button or a image based component.
May 3, 2012 at 11:58 am #4108Hi Atom, sorry for the long wait…
Ok, I’ve tried the latest nightly (1004) and I have the same problem…
Create two buttons, create one method that will basically print to the console the value of the button. Assign the same method to both buttons.
On the 2nd button, TRANSFORM it into a toggle button by enabling the proper radio button.
Try the 2 buttons, the first one will work and lua code will be triggered… the 2nd one will not be working…
Thanks,
ChrisMay 3, 2012 at 12:37 pm #4109Hello everyone, how work proceeds? Lately I have not followed the development of the program .. Chris you were working on midi automation?

Chris[/quote:36xcc2vh]the whole radio thing is something i’m fixing i have a bug report about that and i’m hoping to fix that in the next nightly.
May 3, 2012 at 2:41 pm #4111ATOM: thanks for the info, will be looking fwd to that fix !
EFREM: Midi automation already works for me in my DAW… Currently, not much has happened with the JD Panel, the only thing remaining is changing SOME of the behavior AND enable the patch library and providing the library file (both of them are ready) !
May 3, 2012 at 4:25 pm #4112a ok thank you
