      Brilliant – thanks for the low-down guys. Breaking it down into its components like you’ve outlined is going to make this task far more digestible. Hope I get some time this week to have a proper sit down work it out!

      Cheers

        Have you noticed the channel not remapping at all?

        cheers

          I agree it’s very confusing!

          Also, as far as I can tell, in standalone the only midi channel that works for me is channel 1, which means I have change any any synth I want to work with to that channel 🙁

          In device -> Out device [ticked] and Change MIDI Channel [ticked]

          Seems the routing is broken (OSX 5.3.198)

          cheers

            What would be the best way to debug which sysex is breaking the sound?

            This panel it seems is almost there, just needs a little tlc

            Ta.

                Thanks for the heads up about Global params. Look forward to seeing your panel

                I too have the 1.2 firmware chip upgrade. Just got it. It’s like a new machine!

                  Hello

                  Has anyone figure out how to send out the Global params sysex (Vibrato settings mainly)?

                  cheers

                    That’s perfect thanks again.

                    One more thing:

                    lt (modulatorValue, 0, 97 + (31 + modulatorValue), modulatorValue)

                    This won’t work in the LUA editor will it? The value I get from

                    panel:getModulatorByName(“modulatorName”):getValue()

                    seems to be before any expressions are performed on it

                      Sorry I’m really not getting this! Is there a doc you can point me too, or could you attach a very simple 1 modulator example that shows how to connect the modulator to the method please?

                      thanks

                        Thanks, so is the method called from “Expression to evaluate when calculating…” field in the modulator options?

                          console(“modName value: “..panel:getModulatorByName(“modulatorName”):getValue())

                          The other problem is I don’t know where to put this exactly! I want the value to go into the console when I change the modulator. Am I to create a new method for this?:

                          myNewMethod = function(--[[ CtrlrModulator --]] modulator, --[[ number --]] value)
                          end

                          The other thing is that I want to view the print the value after the “Expression to evaluate when calculating…” field is done

                          cheers

                            Great work this panel. Not sure that I have it setup correctly for my JV-1010 but is it possible to edit a single patch as part of a performance? The editor only seems to effect the patch when in Patch mode.

                            much thanks
