I’d give a Mac version a whirl . though it has to have a good VFD type display lol
Cool thanks . Will try it out in the next few days and report back
FX section is missing isn’t it … oh well that’s ok . Any luck in using it yet ?
Let me know what issues you have if any and I’ll test the new build out and let you know what I know when there is a mac build ” title=”Wink” />Thats all I got …other than the pearl code for bi directional patch name lists . To which I believe could not use or need – sorry it’s been a while back .
The Micron and Miniak work exactly the same the only differences are the build and patches . So if you can’t get a read from the micron it will be the same here too .
Hope the info above will help … if you needed it again that is .
BTW if it helps the ION’s knobs were all very high resolution … to my knowledge none of that was changed in the code from the ION to Micron to Miniak .[img:2zhy7v62]http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/1902/micronmidibankchange.jpg[/img:2zhy7v62]

Miniak like the Micron has three knobs to edit with and they have to be assigned so it’s the same deal as what you have seen I believe .
What parameters are missing from the micronizer …aside from the tap tempo and multi / seq/ rhythm editing ?Yep weird beast . All NPRN no midi CC’s . The ION had super high resolution knobs so maybe that explains the strangeness ?
Thanks for the update .
An initialize patch function would be invaluable on this too BTW .Hows this coming along ? My Miniak feels … disconnected . lol
Nice and clean I like it ” title=”Very Happy” />
Ok I will beta test . hit me
Novation Xio Mac build ?
Any time frame for OSX Builds ?
Also still looking forward to your ION/Micron/Miniak editor !
Not to sound impatient just curious .
If It matters All the DSI’s, Alpha Juno and XIO are the ones I am waiting for ” title=”Wink” />
Keep up the great work !

Says Who ?
I use stand alones to do sound design for patches and only record my synths as audio in real time to keep my sound design and recording split which makes recording time much more efficient …not playing around with knobs and or mouse !As he said he can just drop the audio interface section to speed up process and that’s just fine for me I can do all of that through audio midi setup anyway .
To the contrary I only use the stand alones .
However this –
" create a new standalone version withouth the Audio preferences with only MIDI preferences in the Ctrlr itself "
should work great on Mac as Audio Midi setup alows for external hardware to pass audio through most usb/1394 audio i/o’s with out the need for a host application/ daw running .And to be honest the audio prefrances in the standalones is were I have had the most issues with in sevral ctrlr apps .
So I vote cut the audio pref , but please keep the stand alones …infact I could see use for them even ported to iOS too ” title=”Wink” />
YEAH !
As the Miniak is the exact same engine that is a win for me too !Pretty powerful little synths , but programming them is a bit tedious …even more so than an Alpha Juno .
